Peg Norman, Canadian Federal New Democratic Party candidate, had to turn down a large donation from Rosie O’Donnell because Rosie isn’t a Canadian citizen.

Peg and Rosie started their friendship years ago when Peg’s partner, Gerry Rogers, appeared on Rosie’s show to discuss her film My Left Breast, a film made after Roger’s was diagnosed with breast cancer.
