McGreevey’s Official Portrait Unveiled
The hanging of James McGreevey’s official portrait in the governor’s outer office, the same place McGreevey announced that he would be stepping down because of an extramarital affair he had with a man, was celebrated with a small ceremony at New Jersey’s State House yesterday.
The portrait, completed in August 2005, cost $25,000 and was paid for with gubernatorial transition funds.
Do I want to know what “gubernatorial transition funds” are?
Nah – I’m sure that $25k wouldn’t have paid for anything worthwhile, like medicine or anything.
Politicians and their egos, oh my!
