The LA Queer Studies Conference is the successor to last year’s QFac
conference, held at USC and the QGrad conferences held for the last six
years at UCLA. The new format will allow for plenary sessions and
concurrent panels at both institutions. Although we have abadoned the
conference for graduate students only, we hope for substantial graduate
student participation, since one of our goals of the new format is to
encourage the exchange of ideas between graduate students and faculty
scholars.
