Critics say a new video game based on the best-selling Left Behind series of Bible-related end-of-the-world-books glorifies religious violence against non-Christians and they are calling on Wal-Mart to pull the product from its shelves.

“Part of the object is to kill or convert the opposing forces,” said the Rev. Tim Simpson of Jacksonville, Fla., who heads the Christian Alliance for Progress. “It is antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

What a wonderful holiday gift for children! Because we all know that God wants you to kill.
