Country star Kenny Chesney was devastated when his sexuality was questioned in the aftermath of his split from Renee Zellweger.

The gay rumours began after the actress left her husband of just four months earlier this year, citing “fraud” in her annulment papers.

Despite being untrue, the allegations left deeply Kenny hurt.

He says, “They’ve done nothing short of calling me gay and her a whore. None of those things are true. I’m pretty firm in my sexuality and my love for women.”
