A Blog for Lesbian Moms
Mombian, “a lifestyle site for lesbian moms,” was brought to my attention when Dana emailed me about hosting the Carnival of Bent Attractions. It looks like a great resource for lesbian moms; if you’re one, you should head on over and take a look around!
I stole this from Mombian’s About page:
Mombian is a lifestyle site for lesbian moms, offering a mix of parenting, politics, diversions, and resources to strengthen and sustain lesbian moms in all our varied roles. It’s not exclusively about parenting, or politics, or household management, or even “lesbian stuff†(whatever that is), though there is certainly a healthy dose of all of the above. It’s also not a diary-blog of “my cute toddler and the adorable things he did today and my hundreds of photos of him,†much as he is, and does, and I have. There are already lots of great sites like that.
Instead, I aim to provide refreshing naptime reading for stay-at-home moms with infants or toddlers, a welcome break for moms at work, and an anytime snack for any lesbian mom (and maybe an occasional non-lesbian parent) who wants a quick read of something interesting and perhaps worthy of conversation.
