Okay, attacked may be a little harsh. The cops state there were homophobic slurs directed at the women and their hats were knocked off. What do you think? Attack or just some basically harmless asshole who has nothing better to do with his time? A little of both?

A Staten Island man accused of attacking two lesbian marchers in the borough’s first gay parade claimed yesterday that they ignited the confrontation.

John Alla, 22, of New Dorp Beach, said he “did nothing wrong” during Saturday’s furious faceoff with a pair of female saxophone players at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Parade and Festival.
